2 Days Gorilla Trekking from Kigali or Kisoro
This safari targets tourists who wouldn’t love to have the drive from Kampala to Bwindi which is almost twice that from Kigali/ Kibale/ Kisoro to Bwindi.
This 2 Day Gorilla Trekking from Kigali or Kisoro is the cheapest gorilla trekking safari, and you will visit the best gorilla trekking destination in Uganda and it hosts 50-% of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. These endangered species can’t survive anywhere out side their natural habitat hence the only way to see them is to visit them in their natural crib, they are only found in Uganda, Democratic republic of Congo and Rwanda. Visiting gorillas in their natural home sounds life threatening, yet it is the most rewarding safari activity one should consider adding to their bucket list.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to 19 habituated gorilla families and is open to trekking by a reasonable number of trekkers a day, gorilla trekking permits are on high demand and yet each group of gorilla families is visited by two groups of trekkers a day and each group has a total of 8 people, making the permits very scarce hence considering booking in time. Gorilla trekking in Uganda is more affordable compared to Rwanda and it’s open all year round.
