🗓 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park & Bigodi Swamp Walk

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from Kampala/Entebbe for your scenic journey to western Uganda. Enjoy rolling hills, tea plantations, and crater lakes along the way.
Arrive in Kibale National Park in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and later enjoy a guided Bigodi Swamp Walk — famous for monkeys, butterflies, and rich birdlife.

Day 2 – Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Watch the chimps as they play, groom, and swing through the trees — a thrilling and close encounter.
After lunch, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening.

Day 3 – Game Drive in Kasenyi Plains & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, an area rich in wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, and warthogs. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds along the shoreline.

Day 5 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing and then embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience.
Trek through dense rainforest with experienced rangers until you find one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants before returning to your lodge for relaxation or an optional evening Batwa community visit.
