Day 1: Arrive Entebbe & Overnight

Welcome to Uganda. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, enjoy a seamless experience with our Uoske operators. You will be driven and escorted to your prepared lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.

Destination: Entebbe City

Day 2: Fly to Kihihi & Transfer to Your Bwindi Lodge.

After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to the airport for a scenic flight to Kihihi. This low-level journey offers breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s landscapes – rolling hills, crater lakes, and lush forests – before you land near Bwindi. Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, your driver will escort you on a 2 hour journey to your prepared Lodge, an elegant property located inside Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your two-night stay is fully inclusive of all meals and selected drinks (excluding spirits and liquor). Spend a relaxed afternoon at leisure – perhaps on your private veranda overlooking the forest. Optional activity – additional cost: Guided forest walk to discover local flora, birds, and primates.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Prepare for a life-changing encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for registration and briefing (7:00 AM). You will be assigned to a gorilla family and divided into groups of eight. Guided by expert trackers and rangers, you will journey through the dense canopy of the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek can last between 2-3 hours, depending on where the gorillas nested. The terrain is steep and dense. Porters are available for hire – recommended for a more
comfortable trek. When you finally locate the gorilla family, you will spend one profound hour just metres away from these gentle giants. Observe the silverback leading with quiet authority, mothers grooming their infants, and juveniles playing. The eye-to-eye connection is deeply emotional and unforgettable. After your hour, return to the trailhead for your trekking certificate. Head back to your preferred Lodge to relax and reflect on this extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience.

Day 4:Fly to Entebbe & Depart

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be driven back to Kihihi Airstrip to catch your return flight
to Entebbe. Fly over the stunning Ugandan countryside one last time. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will connect with your onward international flight. Destination: Entebbe International Airport
