Day 01 :Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Evening Game Drive

Your guide will pick you up from Kampala/Entebbe after breakfast for a short briefing on the safari. You will then embark on a scenic drive via the Masaka-Mbarara highway, with a stopover at the Equator for photos and a brief demonstration of the Coriolis effect.

Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in time for lunch. After a short rest, embark on an evening game drive, where you may spot zebras, impalas, topis, elands, buffaloes, and giraffes.

Day 02 : Walking Safari & Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, head to the Rwonyo Tourism Center for a briefing before starting your guided walking safari at 10:00 AM. The walk will take approximately three hours, covering diverse landscapes from savannah plains to woodland. Along the way, you’ll have close encounters with zebras, elands, buffaloes, impalas, topis, warthogs, and various bird species. An experienced park ranger will provide insights into the park’s ecosystem.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds such as African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, and cormorants. After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 : Transfer back to Kampala

Wake up at your leisure and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. After check-out, take a final game drive as you exit the park, offering another chance to spot wildlife. Lunch will be provided en route. Upon arrival in Kampala/Entebbe, your guide will drop you at your hotel or the airport, depending on your schedule.
