Overview
Sipi Falls, a combination of three waterfalls located on the north-western slopes of Mountain Elgon National Park, offers a remarkable adventure. The tallest of the waterfalls stands at 95 meters (312 ft), making it one of the most stunning natural attractions in Uganda. Surrounded by lush plantations and offering panoramic views of the Karamoja plains, Sipi Falls is the perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
This safari combines activities such as hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, cultural experiences, photography, and coffee tours. Since the trip involves significant hiking, participants should be reasonably fit to fully enjoy the adventure.
Brief Itinerary
- Day 1: Transfer to Mbale Town
- Day 2: Full day at Sipi Falls
- Day 3: Drive back to Kampala and end of safari.
Day 01 : Transfer to Mbale Town
Your safari starts with a pick-up from your hotel in the morning. After a briefing, embark on a 4-hour drive to the eastern part of Uganda. Along the way, you will pass the Mabira Forest, sugar and tea plantations. A stop at Namawojjoro will give you a chance to grab a delicious fried chicken. Continue the drive and make a stop at Jinja, where you can visit the Source of the Nile and the Reptile Park. You can also take a walk at the Nile Bridge before continuing to Mbale Town.
After checking into your accommodation, you can either take a short tour of the town or relax.

Day 02 :Full Day at Sipi Falls
After breakfast, you will drive to Kapchorwa and then to Sipi Falls. The day will be filled with adventure, including activities such as:
- Hiking to explore the waterfalls
- Abseiling down the falls
- Rock climbing
- Cultural encounters
- Visit to the Sipi River and coffee farms
- Nature walks and sports fishing (bring your own fishing gear if interested)
After a day of exciting activities, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 03 : Drive Back to Kampala and End of Safari
