Detailed package
Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Kampala/Entebbe for a scenic drive to southwestern Uganda via the Masaka–Mbarara highway.
Stop at the Equator: Take photos standing in both hemispheres at the same time.
Lunch in Mbarara: Enjoy a delicious meal before continuing the journey.
Arrive in Mgahinga by late afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy dinner before a well-deserved rest.

Wake up early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. You will be assigned a group and start your guided trek in search of Golden Monkeys. The trek lasts 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the location of the monkey family.
Enjoy an hour observing Golden Monkeys in their natural habitat.
Spot other primates, birds, and forest wildlife during the trek.
Receive a trekking certificate at the park headquarters.
In the afternoon, choose between relaxation at your lodge or an optional visit to the Batwa community, where you will learn about their rich cultural heritage.
