4-Day Wildlife & Gorilla Safari in Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi, Uganda

Day 1: Travel to the Impenetrable National Park of Bwindi

Our guide will pick you up early on the first day of your 4-day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari and take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You will make a quick stop for coffee and photographs near the Equator, which divides the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, along the route.

After that, you’ll drive to Mbarara for lunch before spending the night in Bwindi Forest.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Gorilla Trekking

You will track Uganda’s mountain gorillas in the forest on the second day of your four-day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari.

You will spend an entire hour connecting with your long-lost cousins on this day.

However, before entering the forest, you must attend a pre-trek meeting at the park headquarters at 7:30 AM. There, you will be divided into groups.

Depending on how long it takes to locate the gorillas, the walk may take two to eight hours.

Following your hike, you will head back to the resort for lunch before making your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The renowned tree-climbing lions may be spotted throughout your journey through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha section.

You will retire for dinner and spend the night at the resort after arriving.

Day 3: Safari to See Wildlife

After an early breakfast on the third day of your four-day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Kasenyi Area for an incredible wildlife viewing experience.

Elephants, antelopes, bushbucks, and other animals can be seen here.

After that, you’ll go back to your lodge for lunch before taking an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.

You will see hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and other creatures along with a variety of bird species on this adventure.

Day 4: Travel to Kampala

After breakfast on the last day of your four-day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you will get ready for the arduous trip back to Kampala.

There will be a number of optional pauses throughout the route, and if you’d like, you can decide to stop again at the Equator.

After arriving in Kampala, you can be taken to the airport to catch your flight home or dropped off at your hotel for the night.
