🗓️ Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Forest National Park
Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe with your professional safari guide. Stop at the Equator for photos and refreshments, then continue through Mbarara for lunch.
Arrive in Bwindi (Buhoma or Ruhija sector) and check into your lodge. Optional community walk to meet the Batwa pygmies, witnessing traditional dances and cultural rituals.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast and report to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Hike through dense forest terrain to locate a habituated gorilla family, navigating slopes and mist-covered vegetation.
Trek duration: 2–6 hours, depending on gorilla movement. Spend one hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat — taking photos, learning about their social behavior, and appreciating their intelligence.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park (via Ishasha Sector)
Drive through the Ishasha Sector, home to tree-climbing lions and abundant wildlife such as kobs, gazelles, and buffaloes.
Check in at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch, enjoy a scenic Kazinga Channel boat cruise to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species, including pelicans and African fish eagles.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking or Game Drive – Return to Kampala
After breakfast, choose between:
Option 1 – Chimpanzee Tracking:
Trek into Kyambura Gorge in search of playful chimpanzees and other primates.
Option 2 – Morning Game Drive:
Enjoy a Kasenyi Plains game drive, spotting lions, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and other wildlife.
After the activity, begin the return drive to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening for your flight or hotel check-in.
